On the 23rd March, 1868, the British Schooner "Good For- tune" of 34 tons burthen, registered in Penang and belonging to Neou Tean I-Iow, sailed from Penang on a trading voyage with a cargo of piece goods for the North Coast of Sumatra as far as Acheen Head intending to call at Lho Seumawe to load cargo on the return voyage.
